What are Essential Oils? In short they are the essence of a plant in an oil. These oil are (usually) extracted from plant material like flowers, bark, leaves and roots by steam distillation. A lot of material is needed fot a small bottle of oil. They are highly concentrated. F.e it takes 45lemons to create 15ml lemon oil, and 30 lbs of lavender flowers for 15ml of lavender oil. 100 000 Roses are needed for 1 ounce of Rose Essential Oil........ So Essential oils are highly concentrated.

Why dōTERRA? I think this is at the moment the very best oil you can get. The oil is "Certified Pure Theraputic Grade oil": guaranteed the purest and highest quality. This is the only essential oil good enough for my grandchildren.
An other reason I love dōTERRA is that they practice Co-Impact Sourcing where the people that farm and harvest the ingrediënts for the essential oils are aided to improve their lives with things like a school, a good water supply, a safe work environment or a better road.
Look around in my webshop (opens in an new window) and ask any question you have about essential oils!
